How can Renault stay after this year when being associated with this? I guess Merc stayed with McLaren.....
Isn't Merc looking elsewhere now? I think the rumor is that Brawn GP will be the new "official" team.

I think the loss of Flavaflav is a huge loss for F1. His ladies, his arrogance, his yacht, his connections are all so fantastic. His story of how he got to where he was in motorsport is incredible. Interviews with him were by far my favorite of the team bosses because there was always some thinly veiled subplot.

I have no doubt that Flav will be back in F1 somehow. Renault tell FIA no contest, perps have gone, Flav comes back and says hey no investigation, no proof etc.

Yeah, I heard that too, don't remember where though (during the race?). I wonder would happen w/ the driver situation if that happened...

It appears the lawyers are circling like sharks now:

Should spice up the silly season a bit.

Once again, Sir Jackie says it best....

“There is something fundamentally rotten at the heart of Formula 1,” three-time world champion Sir Jackie Stewart told the Daily Mirror. “Millions of fans are amazed, if not disgusted, at a sport which now goes from crisis to crisis with everyone blaming everyone else.”
