Noah,

Very sorry to hear about your hit and run. I think you expressed your feelings very well, and they are about what I might feel. I would offer my tow dolly but I don't think with both ends damaged there isn't a pair of wheels to put on the ground that would work. If you wind up putting it on a trailer and need a tow, remember the Silverado. If it can manage a 24 foot boat, loaded and with trailer it can handle a little ole Porsche. Good luck and let us know how we can help.

John

Best of luck. It's a good thing that most of the necessary parts are common and not expensive. What ever you do, don't let the insurance company try to put non-oem or used parts on. (better yet, have them pay for new then get together with a bunch of us and do the swap meet followed by lots of beer and wrench turning)!!

Thanks again guys. I'm formulating a plan as we speak.

I posted some more photos of the damage in the Pelican thread, if anyone wants to rubberneck.

I have seen your car parked in the deck where I work (Bethesda)...small world. Sorry to hear about your misfortune. I was wondering who that was.

No kidding! I do indeed work in Bethesda, at 7735 Old Georgetown Rd. What garage do you park in?

Same garage. I work on the 7th floor of 7735 Old Georgetown Road....GTM Architects, suite 700. Stop by if you wish, anytime.
I haven't had the car out to Maryland this year yet...very soon though.

Jeezus, that's funny. I'm at Gallagher Design on the first floor (as we speak, I should add).

There are a few of us in the building! A good friend that works with me has a pristine white SC, and then there is the black 996 that parks on the upper levels every day. I should be driving my 930 next week or so...it's just been sitting all winter and I don't want to be a roadside fixture on 270. Keep your ears open for the B&B's ...you should be able to hear it since your on the first floor. Please feel free to drop by at your convenience.
