Uh oh... better keep them on a tight leash.

Especially from that old man Drew.

I would be careful about bringing young teens to Hyperfest. Many years ago it used to be a family type event with lots of activities that were appropriate for all. Things have gotten a wee bit seedy over the last few years. Alcohol, wet tee shirts and Daisey Duke contests have put a different spin on the event.

The NASA instructors usually lock everything up in trailers or trucks when they are not present because of the large contingent of spectators that walk around the paddock. Things have on occasion disappeared.

That having been said, I'll be there although without my 11 year old.

Never thought of myself as seedy, but there it is.

I'll be there for FATT and a few sessions with NASA this weekend.

It looks like a good patch job, rather than a repave. Maybe my expectations were too high.

My initial thoughts as well. I had initial visions of a total repave like Mid Ohio, then it was reported that only certain sections were being done; now we see that it is not only limited sections, but limited width patches that introduce transition edges.

That said, I'll consider it a success if they improved all of the bad spots (it looks like they attended to the worst areas) and if it remains intact (only time will tell).

We gave up the opening event for patches. Patches!?! We don't need no stinkin' patches!!
