...........I hope he doesn't take it to Euro Slows if he's in a hurry

Richard,

That's almost too funny, except I can also relate. I think they do nice work, but any job large or small, seems to take alot longer than promised. When is the latest due date from Jack???

No doubt. I recommended them to a member at a health club I used to work for after he stuffed the front of his very nice P car in a guardrail.

He went to them and for the next 6 or more months all I heard once a week or so when the owner found me at the club was "They still don't have it ready and they are keeping it out in the open all day every day". His car was garage kept from day one. They were pushing it in and out of the shop every day. The P car owner thinks that Carl S's badly racked up track car came in well after his and they dropped his to knock out Carl's. When I left to come over here the car still was not done. It was not a resurection kind of repair ether.

I know that stuff happens and we all have bad days and you only hear about the bad days but I hate to give a ref and have the experience not go well. I don’t know all the details but I regretted making that one many times.

Well, as much as it would have pained me, had Euro Slows told me it would be 6 mos. back in Oct., I probably would have gone with them anyway and then been less angry about it now. It's just that things looked like they were moving along in Jan. Jack called and wanted me to send him my deductible before I went to China, I lined up a rented garage spot for one of my cars and came back from China thinking I just had to get ride out to G'burg to pick up my 993. That was Jan. 29th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Once I was home, Jack said 2-3 more weeks and then called to say I had to sign some stuff so the insur. could pay him before he could send the car to TPC get the engine back in. Then he called and wanted me to come see the car on a Sunday. I showed up, he DID NOT and I saw my car in the window, in a million pieces and unpainted, having been told it would be finished that day. I was so irate, I called the insurance co. and said this was bordering on fraud. Now he had all the money, my car and there was no end in sight for this job. Now I'm 3 mos. into paying for this parking spot. I have to stop typing now. I'm getting too angry. Serenity now!
