Charlie:

Most of that is rubber pick up from what's on the track and in the paddock. It isn't blistering though the excess accumulated rubber may make it look so. Makes a heck of a bang when it flies off in the next session.

This inside sidewall was bulging out about 1" and for about 3''- 4" length. The reinforcement in the sidewall "got bent" by street driving (doubtful) or curb jumping up at the Zippo at the Glen race (most likely). For whatever reasons ... didn't become a problem until this event. Tire was trashed. Good to know that Sasco and Bob Woodman both have Toyo proxes shaved at the track. Got a new one and was good to go.
