not soon enough. if the july 31 delivery date holds, i will start the 500mi break in the day after rain or shine!

Pfest is pretty much a no go and even VIR is looking doubtful. not only are family obligations piling up for that weekend but so are the expenditures - among a few other things, I still need front rotors (floating, so more expensive dammit) and probably tires in order to pass tech.

Chris,
Unless that is just a bit of porn for you to, um, visualize your wins with if the case and heads are back it will be done when he says. I go pick it up for you and get the break in done on the drive home. There's a little parking lot I know on the way back called Road something I think would be perfect. I'll talk to Jake and set it up. No worries.

2 things on that...i actually asked if i could fly in and drive home. they said long sustained (i.e. highway) driving def not good for it until it's broken in. they actually offer a break in svc for $$ but not only does it delay the delivery, i refuse to be that lazy - i'll break it in myself! and the other thing is, if i pick it up from there, i pay state sales tax on top.

so basically, i wait for the enclosed carrier to my door.

Their break-in process is quite interesting I'll describe it to you the next time you can't find your way out of BMAN's suite...

Told you they were quick like a bunny once they started. Billet tensioner paddle - nice. Cheater rods and pistons - check. You should be bouncing up and down, buddy boy!
