You should also check with your insurance company about thier regs with antique tags. Mine states it has to live in a locked garage, and I had better not get cought with it at my place of employment. ( I can beat that one easy, it's needing work)
I'm not sure about Ya'lls local taxes but Lanna is free from all taxes here. I only have to ag with the yearly inspection...........and I know somebody.

I run 'em on my SC and haven't received a letter...yet. Oh well, I guess I'll be coughing up the $50 one time fee but still that's better than annual inspection fees and annual personal property taxes on toys.

AFA the insurance restrictions there are some but they vary depending on the company. I currently use Sneed and their restrictions aren't bad.
