I thought you'd like that one although I probably couldn't aim like that again in the next 30 shots

Another of Greg that's sharper, but I was just a bit late with the reflex

Dave, those are some beautiful shots!

What weaponry are you using?

I realized this weekend that my otherwise terrific Nikon 5.4 megapixel leaves a lot to be desired for action shooting...especially long-range action shooting.

Sony DSC V1

It had the manual features that I was looking for but not the size, nor price, of a full size SLR. I just checked and some online retailers have it in the $350 range.
(A year ago I paid much more than $350 )

The outcome here is what you get when you mess with the settings long enough. That's what I was doing last season during the last DE at Summit since I was too late to sign up for it. BTW, even though it can shoot 5 meg, all these above are taken w/ 1.2 meg settings. Takes less time to transfer to the computer and upload as well.

Thanks for the great photos Dave, Noah, Mike(Photeditor), JR, and Richard Curtis.

Noah , nice commentary ROFL .
You had to do it didn't you !

Dave, I think I might need to invest in that Sony, mine just doesn't cut it anymore. I added my low res photos to the gallery.

BTW it sounded more like:
"Negative gooseneck, I was travelling at mach 5 speeds, there was no time to slow down."

Great photos. Did anyone happen to get a photo of my car (#801 -- Silver Targa)? I do not have a single picture of it on or off the track.

Thanks,

Thanks because you're sooooo fast that it was hard to capture on film (or memory card, as the case may be).

I'm sure there is one of you in the "take." I'll look for it.

cheers,

Michael

Yeah right, in my dreams (actually, I really am fast in my dreams, unless I want to be slow !).

Is anyone else having a problem with not talking about track events afterwards? My wife has already said "basta" and I am biting my tongue around my coworkers because if I realize that I am talking about it a little, I have probably already become a bore.

There's a support group for that, we meet weekly, there's a possible garage meeting this weekend w/ Leland Pate...

and another one middle of next week (should be in a pub )

weekend of 26-27 there's another garage meeting involving carbs...

and then there's VIR
