Are those ADS plate speakers I see??

One of my favorites. Very smooth sounding...but requires a good amount of power.

This all started the other night when I was looking at the panel and the area behind it to replace that speaker with something decent.

So to answer your question:
No, I don't think so.
I think they say Boston Acustics on them.
In that box there is a 4"+/- driver and a tweeter next to it.
The box protrudes about 3/4-1". If I do the roll bar I'll have to twist the box arround so it's not in the way of the rear support.
I'm thinking the rear support will rest on the lateral member below or behind that panel and be bolted thru the wheel well or to that existing bracket. The lateral support will take any major impact and the bracket will just hold it in place. I think this is sort of the concept with your DAS bar. I think yours sorta rests on the latteral support, but bolts to the rear seat back hinge point. I'm hoping that the way I'm doing it, I won't have to screw arround with the rear seatbacks.

Is that a prototype PVC rollbar? I sure that passes VIR's guidelines :P

Stronger than you think!
I'm waiting for the engineering analysis to come back from the lab!
Certainly lighter than steel!
