Lots of fun with the usual cast of characters. I ended up with a P3 (should be 2 for pass under yellow), P1, P4 and a P2 in the enduro. Sprint 1 was a total cluster that turned into too much fun. The split start was poorly timed so we ended up catching the second race group before they had started. Nutso first few laps. Enjoy:

So did the pole sitter for your group just decide he didn't want to deal with a pace car or what? That was the most bizarre thing I've seen at a PCA race.

I sent BH an email on your behalf complaining about the start and the pass under yellow by the white car and your recommendation that the whole thing be scrapped and award you the win just for showing up.

Thank you Steve. I knew I could count on your advocacy'

The pace car never moved. I think the pole sitter thought that pace car was waiting for the next group. Apparently the pace car was not told to go so he didn't go. That's a thing. They have gotten in trouble for going without being told so he didn't go. To the steward's credit he took full ownership of the snafu rarher than blame the drivers or staff. That was refreshing

Was definately a great weekend, Hats off to Jimmy and Art for keeping the cars running..

had some good battles with Clarke,......he got me in the first race...after throwing me off track hahah....he definaly is a capable driver and that car handles amazingly in the slow speed stuff....i think he was like .06 off my time in one of the races...made me drive in my mirrors more than i would have liked.

got thrown off track more than i have in YEARS...in 1 race.haha...seriously had 6 offs....3or 4 near disastorous hits....and one awesome save ill try to post up.

good to put a face to jerome finally, family had a great time as always
Nader provided some needed comic relief..

Fly's were annoying as crap...trailer still has about 4000 in it.

Hunt those are some fun vids....
Scott nice driving as well, funny i thought i was being nice lifting for you in t2....but i dont think it woulda mattered if i did or didnt haha.

Ryan had a good weekend as well, good to see th car back in action.

Craig also was dropping his times consistently giving Nader a reason to work hard.

James's seemed to have a good weekend as well (cept pat breaking in the enduro)

The weather held off and had a fantastic Weekend! Big thanks to Intersport and Europros forgetting my car ready in time! Art and Jimmy's support at track was top notch. Intersport had a big weekend. Lots of first places and podiums...Clarke, Evan, Craig, Stuart, Scott, Hunt, me

Recap/Videos Here: http://dorkiphus.net/porsche/showpos...&postcount=557

2 classic moments of the weekend...

Clark and I are having moped races, he looking back at me, next thing you know he sees the expression on my race, looks forward and...BOOM...crashes into a big trash can. We were all in tears.

At the awards dinner Stuart was so excited he got a first and second place, he thought he won GTA2. They announced it was a tie. Only 2 cars in GTA2, but the other guy had a faster lap time, so he won. Stu didnt hear that, was so excited, he went running up to the podium to pick up "his" award. All of us at the table a screaming at him that, yo, you didnt win. He was oblivious. Came back all smiles, until we explained it to him. We couldnt stop laughing for about 5 minutes.

Looking forward to SP

Huh?? Who crossed the finish line first?? If the car with a faster lap time had gone off, and finished 2nd, would he still win??

BTW....congrats to all who had a great weekend!

It's for the Trophy (Coffee Mug this time). They combine the results of the Sprints on a points system. If there is a tie, the faster guy gets the Coffee Mug.

Gotcha! Hopefully Stuart doesn't like coffee.

That video of the start is crazy, I had no idea that happened in your race. Would have been funny if you guys had started dive-bombing the 944's on their pace lap!

Wow. What a bizarre scenario. I'm surprised the starter gave your group the Green flag. I guess the Pace Car bailed out on one of the access roads; would have been interesting to see the pack blow past him at speed. But had to have been a fun race!
