x2. and because even if the car works perfectly, you won't have time to share it. you want to start griding up 15 min prior to your sessions. if you show up after 5 min before grid you automatically get put in the back, regardless of where you qualified. there really is no way to share the car on a race weekend. seriously.

It's my second race weekend (first one is just a week away!). And IF we have Hoosiers, it's only because Ben would have paid for them in the first place. Not planning to win - just to get experience. Plus the really important day (to me) is the comp school, and Ben's going to keep the car gassed and ready that day to I maximize my (expensive) experience.

If it screws up my race weekend, so be it. We're in this for fun. Ben has never been to VIR and this is his chance. He offered to buy me the Cool Shirt for Fathers' Day and would have done it if I'd let him. I don't expect to do this often (or maybe ever again) and if it REALLY sucks, we might just have to rent a Chevy Cobalt or something...
