Bruce Hall is the best in my opinion.

I'm sure there will be several race teams making trips back from Daytona and Sebring to the Northeast. Maybe some of them will have an extra slot. Try posting on Rennlist.

If you're considering open, I've used DAS in the past to ship my 951 from CA to OH. Was dirty when it arrived but fine (no broken mirrors like Tim's truck).

I had DeMoise ship my car from California to Maryland this past July. No problems and nice people.

Unfortunately the car is still not together, and I am moving in April. I am going on a marathon construction project after the bar exam. Hmm, in that case, maybe I could wait for sebring 12 hours.

I just got my quote back from intercity and for enclosed they want 1272. All this comes out of a relocation budget where I don't get the remainder, so that seems fair. I am going to be WAY under the allotted amount of money.

get a quote from Peg Trucking, a friend of mine has shipped lots of cars with them. don't know if they do enclosed or not though. No problems, might get a few bucks off if you mention that they were recommended by a SDC member (Studebaker Driver's Club)

+1. I just had an SC shipped from SoCal to MD and they were a pleasure to deal with and reasonably priced.

Gator--

FWIW,don't know if you have to have enclosed or not, but my parents are "snowbirds" and they ship their cars with a company called Porter's Transport out of hunt valley, maryland to boynton beach, fl and it cost them about $400 (one way). they drop the car and it is delivered to their door in about 2 days.

obviously there are plenty of others who do the same thing....while they don't specialize in moving exotics/showcars and the like, they do ship a lot of high end vehicles and i know my folks have never had a problem.
