If ticket was written on 10/24, then you are busted. Even though ticket may not say the exact date, its not too difficult for them to confirm with an adjacent jurisdiction. Even if you did have a really good story (just got back from duty in Iraq and was on my way to the MVA to get new sticker....) the facts are clear and it would take a very lenient judge to let you off. Time and frustration to pursue a 0-point violation that's factually correct is not, IMHO, worth it for $40.

Yup, expired is expired... even if the ticket doesn't specifically say it.

Just pay and move on... not worth the fight. IMHO.

I suppose you're correct. PLus it would cost me an extra $10 if I didn't win and I'm not Mr. Moneybags like some of you guys here.
