Welcome Bill and Tom.

The individuals on this forum are great (a little crazy) and will help with everything even if you don't want them to.

Keep the rubber side down,

How about an introduction, creseida?
Hi, I'm creseida. I have been working on cars for over 30 years. I'm a gear head. I train horses.

I have a farm, two horses, 6 cats, an Eastern 3-legged Box Turtle and a Quaker Parrot. Anyone want a bird? I'll pay you a dollar to take the bird.

I have way too many cars. Some are mundane, like my F250 (Tonka) and my uber-dependable 91 Jeep (Willie - with 221k and still going strong). Some are not so mundane, like my 62 Imperial coupe (Isabelle - one of 826 made), 66 Tbird (Thelma - Q-code car), my 65 Vair coupe (Cassandra), my 66 International Frank Imperatore Custom Truck (Hilda), and an 89 Maserati named Guido. Some are sleepers like my GS 430 Lexus (Lexie) and Buddha, my 06 JCW Mini Cooper S.

I have a 98 Boxster. His name is Baron. Yes, another red-headed step child of the automotive world. An overpriced VW. Not a "real" porsche... yadda yadda. Fits right in with the Nader-mobile. I have a few others hanging around the yard including a 63 barn Find Corvair Spyder coupe with original paint and interior, and nearly mint. Just no motor.

I can be very sarcastic and don't suffer fools gladly. I can also be a whole lotta fun. I hate politics and don't believe in god. I am the East coast weed-whacker champion and I have a collection of pet rocks.

Still no takers on the bird, huh? How about I pay you TWO dollars...?

p.s. My first post was asking for help with the over-priced VW...

X2 on the welcome Creisida! You sound like you'll fit in fine with the rest of our motley crew.

Any interests in autox, track driving, drive & dine, rally, etc?

Welcome. Great intro.

No way on the bird. Had a 3 pound chicken in a cheap suit that some people call a Macaw for a good long while. Still can't hear right out of one ear.
