Saw Ellen B's blue 944S2 southbound on Rt270 this am. Not sure who was driving. Hard to see other lanes from the HOV lane.

AWD turbos are a blast to drive in the wet. The only problem is with the others on the road around you

I can pretty much drive normal speeds in my Volvo (and when my Talon was n the road, in that as well). But put me on the Beltway or 95 in my '87 Targa, and I have to drive about 50 mph if I want to be able to see and keep the car going straight

Visibility is the biggest concern. Can't see Scheidt through the windshield when it's raining hard. The wiper setups just weren't in the same league as the Jap cars back then.
