With all the Nico hate about the hat being thrown, it's cool to see him out and about and having a good time at the bars -

Yawn, I hate a fixed race. Mercedes should move to the WWF.

Go Vettel!

WEC LMP Sprint Cup? Formula eeendy?

I know it is an anachronism but seeing the drivers helmets lends a sense of immediacy to spectating that watching a LMP car doesn't though the increase in in-car video helps a tremendous amount in all race formats. Otherwise just as soon watch drone racing.

I do like some of the changes for 2016, especially with bringing 3 tire choices and allowing the teams to pick 10 of the sets. I wonder if they will require 2 of the 3 to be used still?

Solar power! More carbon fiber to clean up from the track when it shatters (front wheel covers). Is it safer with the enclosed cockpit? It certainly seems so. I think this is nicer looking than the current tractors.

Maybe the solar power will be used to power the amplifiers to simulate that old F1 sound...

Am I the only one that thought Interlagos was BORING? Other than Vettel, so was Abu Dhabi.

IMHO, they should let the teams decide which tires to use. I think it would bring an interesting element of design competition to F1 where some teams may try setups favorable to a particular compound. I also think they need to move to the present, and stop using 13-inch rims (I understand this is currently due to tire manufacturer wanting larger sidewall for better logo display). Larger rims would also open up better, and possibly less expensive, braking options.

I would also like to see DRS become a driver controlled option, and eliminate the DRS Zones and 1-second rule. Overtaking shouldn't be easy.

One really ridiculous aspect of the current DRS rules that I didn't even know until I got upset watching it happen is that I THOUGHT that DRS was only enabled for position battles. It was absolute idiocy to watch Rossberg get to use DRS passing a back marker to pull away from Hamilton at Interlagos. I sort of got the idea of making competition keener so having to fight past back markers while the guy chasing you catches up seems to meet the 'competition enhancing' ideas and the existing rule is ludicrous to see and makes me sad.

Dr. K.: Mexico was Boring as well.

I sorta like the drivers having the DRS option as a tuning feature, to pickup some straight-line speed, versus downforce in the corner. But I don't like the "for passing only" rules currently in place. It's also curious to me that they allow the drivers to use DRS anywhere during qualifying; why not just allow the same during the race.
