With RA1's, this is when they were in their prime. Are the R888's done done, or just the tread worn away? ....no need for tread in the dry.

I'm also cheap and wear my shoes until the toes poke through......

They're not corded, and I can probably get another low-grip day or two out of them. I may try to do that, since the low grip does have training value.

By the way, great marker for tires (if you want to record HCs) is a Silver Sharpie.

Irfan, I have two sets of 18" Carerra IIIs (57et 8x18 and 58et 10x18) and would trade a set plus cash for your 19"...One set has 888's with about 75% life left (black plasti-dipped wheels you've seen) the other set has all but new PS2s. Let me know if you're interested.

Thanks for the offer. I'd like to keep the 19s wheels for possible eventual resale of the car, and maybe also for street-only tires. But I may be interested in buying one of your sets of 18s, if that's an option. For now, I've ordered Super Sports (back to street tires!) for the 911 on the 19s. I've heard good things about these tires for track use, and they're about half the price of Sport Cups.
