Sounds like a great plan kurt.

While you lucky bastards were loving life dodging potholes and ground hogs at Summit point in great weather I was playing around with oil lines and stuff. Got the coolers and oil system planned out and roughed in. Using two 964 coolers mirror-rorrim to each other I used aluminum to make a frame that is the intake duct, lower frame and hood pin base all in one. Mounted the coolers back and up a bit to protect them from little offs and there are no cooler fasteners or mounts to bumper or splitter. Opened up the stock intake in the bumper and cut a 2X hole in the hood trimming it with aluminum as well. All pressure side in -12 with -16 for return from tank which will pass through an O-Berg filter on the way. Tank base is a drain tunnel of sorts through the floor pan for easy oil changes. Oil lines have welded standoffs for band clamp mounts. Braided stainless hose grinds and eats anything it rubs against including itself.
Next installment will be on some suspension work as it is sitting on wheels now.

Are those home-made headers?

I'm learning....as long as DAG (DumbAssGeen) and CRS (Can'tRemberShit) don't interfere too much.

Car sure looked good in person this weekend. Actually the first time I've been by the shop since the project started....so it's been a while, haha.
Close up inspection looks even better than the pictures. I'll have to make it out to a track day next season to see it in action.
