Default Performance chip for 964?

My 1990 C2 has a light weight fly wheel and will hunt for idle and occasionally stall unless the guys from ASG "trick" the computer - then it runs great. Unfortunately, if the battery is disconnected, the factory computer settings are restored and the engine begins hunting for idle again and I'm off for another visit to the mechanic.

So, I am looking for a performance chip (or other technology) that will recognize the car has the light weight fly wheel and solve the problem once and for all - any suggestions?
