I still think you all ought to reconsider and plan on heading down to Daytona for RRII. Remember, Hershey happens every year ...

Have fun up in Chocolate town

I'd would in a minute, but I'm on a budget this spring. Take some pictures/video of RRII will you?

Hi all,
I'll be in Aberdeen Maryland for a few months for military training starting April 10th. Can anyone give me a ride? I'd be more than happy to split the gas bill. I'm hoping to find a running early 911 project. Thanks!

Welcome ... grass hut person.

Is your name RSR or the later...?

SURE, many of us will give you a ride and if you are looking for an early project car I am sure someone here (myself included) can help you out.

Like they say.... How fast do you want to go?

How much $ do you have

Jase

Hi Jase,
Sorry, my name is Jeff. I'm looking for an early 911 project that runs. I'm planning to use it while I'm in MD, and after training ends I'll be taking it on a roadtrip across to Cali, then ship it to the grass shack. Right now fast isn't an issue, but I hear MFI is awesome. Currently not too much money right now, but got two cars for sale right now and will use the money to buy one. Of course, cheaper the better (so would a cheap '72-'73) but I think I'll probably end up spending $3-4K. If I can't find one that I like...then I might end up buying a vw rabbit pickup to make the trip. Thanks!

Better hurry, any ‘72/’73s that run for $3 - $4K worth having will be behind my house!

Yeah, but does it have solid rear disks, six speed and a transverse mounted V-6? If it does, then you DO have a pure sports car!
