I've heard of the place back when it opened. Mike from Don and Mike is one of the co-owners hence the name. Looks like fun

It's owned by Radio's Mike O'Meara of the Don and Mike show. The food is "not good".
I was there too early to judge if it was fun or not, ate an early dinner and left. I was told it's frequented by the same Manass-asses as used to frequent it under the previous name/ownership. Read: not your type, Dave.

That's probably not fair, we should do a Dorki night - drinking only. It's close to me, so I'm all for that. Any place is fun if you're among friends.

It's a couple of blocks down the street from my office and I've been there maybe twice in the past year, if that tells you anything, but I know a few lawyers who go there about once a week. It's ok but very loud, ie difficult to carry on a conversation. The food is typical bar food. From what I hear the women show up more after 9 Thurs-Sat, like most places I guess. They did have pretty good bands both times I was there. Service tends to be slow--I didn't think they had enough servers from what I saw. Personally, I wouldn't think it's worth a ride out from DC--the clubs there are much better. But I'm game if people want to try it.
