In all seriousness, I always liked this one:
Chopard Mille Miglia Chrono

just a personal opinion, but i never liked the "tire tread" patterned rubber strap. seems like it's trying too hard to be a "car guy's watch"
these have been gaining popularity in the last few years: http://www.vintageheuer.com/heuerwatchesframeset.htm |

Wouldn't the rubber rip out your arm hairs?

LOL, wouldn't the 911 skin your knuckles?
i found that the link-type of bands rip hair a lot more efficiently. after about a month you have a bald spot on the wrist which puts an end to the horological epilatory suffering... |

In the watch world, I see the automatic chronographs in a similar light - they perform multiple useful functions, never require a battery (or winding), and can last for many many many years. There's a certain appeal to that, particularly in today's throw-away society full of battery-operated electronics that are obsolete and worthless in 12 months.

COSTCO sells Breitling and Rolex too. I've seen $50k engagement rings there.

Not on a Rolex scale but I purchased a Movado there a while back that was less than 1/2 of real world cost. Costco comes up with good deals from time to time but some of it is gray market.
}{ "horological epilatory suffering" LOL.
