Or get a can of Brake-Kleen and spray it off and then watch where the oil comes from. Ask RL about that..

Well I took off the lower valve cover and no loose studs feel out. I tapped the headstuds with a screw driver and tehy didn't budge. Further inspection shows the oil cooler may be the culprit.
Should I pull the upper valve cover? What are the odds of intake headstud breaking if the exhaust did not?

I don't know if this will help but, my SC's head stud problem didn't produce any noticable oil leakage (nothing out of the ordinary) and sounded like an exhaust leak. Didn't have any signs of running problems. I had 4 broken studs, 2 on 1 p/c. All exhaust side. If your bottom studs are fine, I'd check the tops, but its highly unlikely that it is a stud problem. I'd look too lines, hoses and seals. Look at the back of your engine, on top at the sending unit and thermostat area, then to the cooler, etc.......

I’d go with checking the top oil sender and then the cooler’s O rings. There have been some cases of “cracked” cases just in front of the cooler mount. Most can be fixed with epoxy.

Way too much oil for a head stud problem. Good news the fix will be cheaper but might be more difficult to pin point with the engine in the car. 3.2 intake is almost impossible to get around to see the stuff in the front of the engine that leaks. You might think of a partial drop to get a peek at the idiot light sender, the internal thermostat housing, and the breather housing if the oil cooler is ruled out.

Mirrors, bore scope and a bright light. Inspect using the tools and see if it is a "duh, its leaking from right there" kind of leak. If it is not, clean up with spray cleaner, drive a little and inspect using mirrors and or a borescope. The fan wil push the oil all over sometimes and if you don't clean up first or drive too much it might obscure the location. The though of cutting an access hatch in the back portion of seat has crossed the mind of more than one 911 owner.
