Family is coming for a burial Friday in Falls Church (National Memorial Park--about 8-9 people coming not including the guest of honor) and looking for a nice "comfortable" place for lunch prior to the burial. Any suggestions? Not looking for fancy (and 2941 is only open for dinner). Thanks in advance.

Well, the person who lives in Florida chose Ireland's Four Provinces (last I was there, it was in DC and I think the Uptown was playing one of the Star Wars movies - first run! Like the 1970!).

The 4Ps doesn't exist anymore. However, Cristi owns the irish inn at glen echo. We love that place so highly recommend. They have private rooms upstairs for that size party as well.

If the Florida people want a very Florida vibe, Clare & Don's Beach Shack is very informal but has good food and is accommodating for groups.

Fritz, Ireland's Four Provinces does very much exist and we ate lunch there (quite good) today. It is now located in Falls Church.
