Default Digitizing vinyl records

I have a brief (45-size but runs at 33-1/3 RPM) record I need to digitize. The quality of the recording is not very high so even a USB turntable would work. Does anybody have a setup for digitizing vinyl I could borrow for 15 minutes (at your site would probably be easiest)? This is a 1-time need. Thanks in advance.

If you have a turn table which sounds like you do ..... you could potentially take the turn table stereo output (may need turn table pre-amp depending on age etc...) and plug into any Mac audio "IN" jack and use Itunes to capture/catalog the incoming signal much like ripping a CD. Just take a moment to adjust the ripping preferences as it prioritizes storage more than quality so a few moments looking through those settings and making good choices could pay dividends in recording quality vs being the smallest most compressed version to save space. Just a thought.

Good suggestion, it's just like recording to reel-to-reel...but onto itunes instead.
My dad used to record records onto reel-to-reel so he could have long-run tunes for favorites/holiday music and not have to mess with flipping albums.

There are tiny standalone phono preamps available for a small amount, though you get what you pay for in terms of quality.

For example: https://www.amazon.com/Jancane-Turnt...dp/B0BYMX9MMY/

Thanks for the advice. I was hoping to avoid the special cable from RCA outputs (preamp out on a receiver with quality MM phono preamp) - to - input on the multi-purpose Mac micro-phone jack. But will look into it.

On the other hand, I've always wanted to see Vicegrip's no-longer-not-so-new place and this could be a good excuse...

Well there you go. Now is the safe time with the rattlesnakes and copperheads going to ground. The bears are a bit more frisky as they are putting on their winter weight.

This brings up a question.
My wife thinks my beloved English black lab, Buck is too fat and she has him on what I think is a drastic and too
restricted diet. I think she has reduced him to raring the hummingbird feeders for basic survival. What say you all?

Buck is a fine-looking boy. Tell your wife SHE'S too fat! (she's not, but it will mess with her head)
