In brief, because I was stupid, and never registered the SuperSport trailer that I paid Mr Duncan for, and long ago lost the title he signed over to me (in a fire, or the dog ate it, I don't know which). The DMV will not register the thing for Ken. So I need to get back in contract with James Edward Duncan.

Please, if anyone out here has contact information, please help me.

Basically, I need to get an affidavit from him to Ken so the DMV will let him register and tag the thing.

Another option is to use mainetrailerregistrations.com
You do not need the title and can get a 5 year registration/plate for 99 dollars. Many people do it as a way to get around issues like this.
