Default Calling All Air-Cooled Porsches

Please join us on Sunday, 21-September for the Gathering of the Faithful!

The Manor at Silo Falls
19501 Georgia Ave
Brookeville/Olney, MD

Registration is $15 for this low-key “people’s choice” Concours Display.
All registered cars will park on field and receive a commemorative event dash plaque. Awards to be given in six classes.

This is a bring your weekend driver, project car, race car, or concours debutante event, as long as it's a Porsche, and its Air Cooled!

Just down the street from me. As long as rain is not in the forecast, I plan on bringing out my Mean Green Machine.

Well TR, see your memory is still razor sharp. I had first posted a thread about my new garage almost exactly 10 years ago. I recall I had promised Richard Curtis I would write up the joys and sorrows of the experience for DV, a promise I have yet to fulfill. So much like my DV write up, and a lot of my projects, bringing them to the finish line is not my forte. Will attempt to get things cleaned up a bit and take some pics to post on my original thread.

That was a great event! Fantastic turnout, both cars and people. Really enjoyed talking with everyone, some I hadn’t seen in many years, others met for the first time. Hope to participate next year, sorry I didn’t take any pictures. Paul, or anyone else, if you have some pics of the event, please post.
