Default License plate bracket for 718?

New-to-me 718. I just got my plates today and was horrified to see how the temp tags were mounted. The front has the normal drilled plate mount with two self-tapping screws at the top to secure the plate and none below. I can deal with that and make it better. The back just has two self-tapping screws right into the body. No buffer or protection at all. There is no way either of these would survive a wash without collateral damage. I've been looking around and finding stuff, but wanted to ask if you all if there is a rear plate bracket or mount that works for you?

I’ve been looking for one too. Don’t care for the ones that use the tow hook mounting point.

Same problem with the 991.

This looks like a decent solution, but I haven't tried it:

^ thanks, but those look like rear mounts? I’m looking for a front license mount.

Right - OP was asking about rear.

Fronts have the same problem too and no good non-drill solution that I've seen. I tried a tow hook mount there but it is _ugly_ and wants to rotate. Lately just been leaving the front plate in my glove box
