I ordered new ones..the boots have been ripped for over 6 years and are full of grit...

Another question...when installing the cv bolts to the transmission what is everone doing ?
I have read some are using Nord-Lock washers and others just use blue loctite with factory bolts and half moon spacers.. need all your professional help please.

I used the serrated washers when I redid my CV's. I rechecked the torque after 100 miles and they were fine.

There was a huge thread on Pelican about reconstructing CV joints on Pelican. Days worth of reading
