Default WTB Two 6-point racing harnesses with camlock

Hello,

I'm in the market for two harnesses suitable for HPDE.

Ideally they would be 6-point, camlock style and if it has the T bar for more room that would be nice

I'd like to keep it under $100 per harness if I could.

Thanks!
Nick

Why not put the money into some newly dated affordable harnesses, that will be usable for the next 3-5 years. If anyone sells you something used, it may be expiring soon, in which case you'll be looking to buy some more soon.

This link takes you to OG racing's selection between $100 and $200. And if you're local to DC area can probably arrive to your house in 1 day, and should be free shipping if over $100.

Also, I believe PCA no longer allows harness bars for harnesses, so you'll need to have a roll bar. Additionally, if you're using a harness, you'll also need a HANS device.

Hi Tony,

I believe that after some discussion last year that there is actually no prohibition on Harness Bars right now.

For the OP - OG Racing has a few option available in your price range. Don't forget that you need a HANS device of some sort w/ Harnesses if you run with PCA.

Please do what you can to increase your budget a bit to purchase new harnesses. Spending a little bit more will get you NEW harnesses that will last you much longer.

Depending on the type of Harness bar. The "harness guide bar" as used in a few Targas are not sufficient. I believe Brey Krause has a "Truss" bar that might be OK. Check with BT. Also as mentioned harnesses are only good for 5 years and HANS required, also recommended to have a roll bar with race seats and harnesses though not required.

Thanks for the suggestions, I must have missed those harnesses on OGs website. I have a rollbar, HANS, and am getting seats from OG. Just needed the harnesses to complete the system.

I may have a used one for a “G” body 911 in the basement, if you are looking let me know and I’ll dig it out.

I might venture a guess that the bar is referring to the old school H style shoulder harness.
