I did NASA and they had lots of exercises which proved to be quite helpful.
Since I don't have an SCCA or NASA license, I'll just go through the normal PCA rookie process (school, probationary races, etc.).

Thanks, I think....

None of the cars I've looked at were pristine, and most of them were in worse cosmetic shape than this one.

PCA's kinda funny about how they handle previous racing experience. It seems like it'll be simpler overall to just go through their normal rookie process.

What can I say? I like sports cars with engines in the proper location.

What's next? Depleting what's left of my pitiful bank account to get the parts needed to get the car ready for club racing (fire suppression system, radios, etc.). Feel free to take a look at my various "for sale" ads....

SCCA accepts PCA license, and I believe NASA does too. Unless PCA has improved their school, I'd consider a dedicated school, Of course, your lemons experience will help a lot.

Mostly true. The speed distorts the lightwaves thus effecting your vision. Smooths everything out.

The adventure continues: just brought home my "new" trailer. It seems quite a bit bigger in my driveway than it did in the seller's driveway.

Plan is to go retrieve the SPB on Saturday.

Congrats! I think those trailers are sooooo cool!

Maybe consider building a pad of grass pavers where you can store the trailer a bit more out of the way.

The car is finally home! The trip back from NJ took literally twice as long as going up there. Tons of traffic and rain on the way back.

When we got home last night, I just left the car and everything sitting in the driveway and dealt with it today. Here's a pic of the car on trailer this morning, and another one showing everything crammed into the garage (and starting to get the car cleaned up). I gotta get this garage cleaned up....
