Default Engine drop - record or baseline?

May not be a record but it took 2 of us 1 hour 35 minutes to drop the 2.5ltr/915 today. Time started when I drove the car into the garage & ended when we pulled the motor out from under. God I love my lift & the woman that got it for me!
Had some problems with the #@&!!* Craftsman jack but other than that it went reasonable well. Had to relearn why a “drop list” is important as the trans hung up on the ground strap!!

We had the same problem when we tried to pull the engine out from under my car. Yanking on the engine trying to pull it out from underneath made the whole car shake (on its jacksatnds ). Its a sturdy little bugger. Check that ground strap!!

David, awesome time.

Congrats on a successful drop - that's an impressive time.

BTW, is there a time allowance factor for a non-lift assisted drop ?

What, you don't have a lift?
