Default Gotti wheels 930

Looking to sell a set of Gotti wheels that came with a car I recently purchased. They have Pirelli P-0s with only a few hundred miles on them. Wheels are missing one Porsche crest otherwise they're in great condition.
thanks-

I suggest you read this https://dorkiphus.net/porsche/showthread.php?t=11842

Mods get cranky if 1st time or long time users just dump an ad w/out an asking price....

Most like an intro to or at least a 1st name.

BTW, just a thought but since the ad is free and most will be more interested in the width and diameter of the wheels vs. size of used tyres....

Why are the tires so greasy? Is it tire shine or are the tires showing their age and building that hardened film over them when they sit?

What's the build date on the tires?

Hey guys,
My name is Temple and i bought a 1980 euro 930 from a friends estate after he passed away last summer. The car currently sits on HRE's and I was told the Gottis were the original set that came with the car. Yes a ton of people have told me these would have never come on that car from the factory... All paperwork on the 930 was lost so we have no record of any of the mods (ugh) done to the car.

I took the wheels to the Hershey meet but it was raining and they never left my truck. Yes i used a tire cleaner just so they would present the best way possible because they had been sitting in my friends garage for years and were rather dusty. Yes the tires are older. They do still have the little rubber twigs hanging off of them.
only selling this wheels to cover the expense of two leaks...yay
Thought I'd ask $2500 only because i saw another set for $2999.00. i'm certain someone will tell me if i'm out of line. thanks-

Thanks David. to be quite honest I'm not certain what size those wheels are. were there several sizes that could fit on a 930?

I joined the group a while back when i had an E46 M track car. then i had kids and track life stopped. the 930 recently came my way so you will be seeing lots of me down the road. PLENTY of stupid questions from me for sure

Welcome, Temple. A 1980 930 is a really fun car, but is also quite the handful. You should definitely get it to an Autocross and/or the track, and make sure you get some skidpad time, too. I hope your friend really wanted you to have it and so you got a great deal on it.

BTW, air-cooled Porsches don't leak - they "mark their territory."

A 1980 turbo never came to the US from the factory. Its a "gray" market car. Absolutely nothing wrong with that, but just a point of history.

Gotti's were certainly "period correct" for a 1980s car. Can't offer advice on the pricing/market for the wheels as they don't seem so popular anymore but always ask high and sell low if you need to.

15" rims make tire choices a bit limited these days.. Do you have the rim sizes? I would think they would be stamped on the backside somewhere.

Give the tire size, maybe 8x15 and 10x15? 9 and 11 x15?

found this on interwebs - P orsche 911 turbo 930 935 Gotti Wheels 9&10x15 Depending on offset the letter class racers may be interested.

Size and off set if not on outer edge by valve stem are usually on the inside on one of the center legs.
