We'll, put down two nice grooves for you to follow. With the Miata you can problem fit into just one

Dr K, what do you need fresh asphalt for? I watch you SSM Miata racers driving and passing in the gravel traps and in the infield at Summit Point all the time so its obvious that fresh asphalt is not necessary for your class. However, now that the SCCA has the "Judge of Fact" watching you from the station at T4 you might consider sticking to the paved areas.

Lots of cars penalized for that T3 gravel at MARRS 1 (not me!!). I actually passed someone 2-off on the grass (he or she was going slow even for a Miata!) but stayed out of the gravel. Getting a new windshield put on, though, because of a car that went off in 10 and came back on. My windshield looks like Van Gogh's "Starry Night!"

As many of you know (or may not know) I am a travel agent. I am holding 3 rooms at the Park Inn in Beaver Falls for Check in May 4 - Check out May 7. The total estimated rate is $355.35 for the 3 nights including taxes. Feel free to contact me at (301) 294-0222 (Thats $118.45 per night) if you are looking for a Hotel close to the Track.

Unfortunately I have to cancel and will not be at Pitt since my daughter is swimming her tush off and qualified for JR Olympics and has a swim meet on May 6.
