Ok thanks. I'll look forward to trying to work with some Dorki's to put something together soon.

I could be in for this depending on the specific date. Suggest we pick a few things, get the parts ordered and conduct a focused attack.

Thanks Hugh! Based on your feedback and others maybe we should look at the leaks, brakes and speedo issue? While we are in there maybe we can determine which bushings / control arm bearings need replacing in addition to the struts / shocks? Or if you feel we can replace some of those while we are down there I can order them as well.

FYI - Interestingly enough there is never any drips or leaks on the ground under the car when it's parked.
All front oil seals were changed by the previous owner less than 5k miles ago.
We are running Mobil 1 Full Synthetic 10W-30. Should we look at switching to something else?

why, are you hoping to find an oil that will make it leak?

I'm surprised Clark's Garage doesn't have info on suggested oil. Of course there is always the Owner's Manual, too.

Yes - I'll look at those too
However I've gotten many opinions regarding conventional vs. synthetic as well...

And the more you look the more you'll find.

The chart in the manual says 20w50 for most conditions. I like Rotella, other like something else. Pick your poison.

For a street car Mobil 1 is fine, go with the weight suggested in the manual.
