Default Fuchs 15 x 6 or x 7 with track rubber (borrow)

Gang:

I would like to borrow two 15 x 7 or 15 x 6 wheels with 205/50, 205/55, or 205/60 track rubber on them to get some measurements on my 356.

I am running the car at Daytona next year and need taller gears. I have sets of 195 / 60 rubber on 15's and am looking for larger rear wheel / tire combos. I have hit tirerack, discount tires, all of the competition tire sites, Sasco motorsprts and Bob Woodman tires for tire specs but wanted to try a "live" demo before ordering.

I am only looking for a minor overall tire diameter increase (.5" to 1.0") versus what I have now. The issue will be tread and section width of the 205s on either the 7 or 6 inch wheel. (and either the 55 or 60 series fitting)

Let me know if you can help out. I promise to get the wheels / tires back ASAP and you can rest assured there will be no tire testing as it is a track car and the neighbors wouldn't be to pleased with me "buzzing" around the block.

Thanks.

Jason

I have a set of 205/55s on 7x16 Fuchs, which works out to about a 205/60x15s. Also 2 each 205/55s on 6x16s Fuchs. Some others too if you just want to experiment. Let me know if these will help.

David:

Thanks for offer. I should have known to come to you for wheels / tires Will be away this weekend (Steelers v. Browns) but would like to stop by next week. PM and let me know what time is good for you.

Everyone else:

I can't believe there aren't any Dorki running 205 / 50-60 track rubber on 15 x 6 or 15 x 7 wheels? Really? I did not know that everyone has switched to the 16" wheels.

I have 6 and 7X15 with track tires. The 6s have 205 50 and the 7s have 225 45, all Hoos. Bring the car over and we can fit them up, the folks on my street are tame and accustomed to P cars buzzing up and down, believe me. They are on the 912.5 right now but I have plenty of tire sets that the car can ride the winter out with (All shot but the Hoos) You can even see what the corner weights are as well.

Jason,

I have a set, 7 and 6, with 205/50 all around. Just give me a call.

Greg:

Thanks for the offer. 205/50 on BOTH sixes and sevens is what I want to try. I've sent you a PM.

I really doubt the sevens will fit but... we'll see.
