Just broke my 1980's Crapsman vice, so I'm up for purchasing one of those Wilton's if available.

If you can't get one of Vicegrip's vices, see if you can get one of Vicegrip's grips - they're really good, too!

Mike, how did everything work out? Get it all dialed in? Lift is available when you're ready to change your fluids.

Everything came out great. I had the alignment done last week and had a day to play with the car on a nice round trip on back roads through Northern MD. Car feels very different and beautifully precise. Much firmer with less body roll and carves turns like a precision surgical scalpel. As supurb as the original suspension was it seems sloppy compared to how the car handles now.

Alignment Numbers:
Front - Camber 2.4, Toe 1/16 out
Rear - Camber 2.2, Toe 1/16 out

After perusing a ton of posts on P9 and CR, most said to go with 0 to 1/16 Toe in up front but Roger suggested trying the slight toe out and if that is too aggressive I will adjust it to 0.

In between I traded in my Cooper S for a loaded 09' 370Z, my new/used daily driver so I have been having fun with that as well. Should be fine as a DD but it feels big, heavy, and sloppy. The car is a pig compared to the Cayman. Plus it's a cheater car with an AT.

I'll catch up with you offline so we can set up a day to get both our cars taken care of.

Thanks again for all your help and a heated garage.

After some trial and error on removing the first assembly, pretty staight forward. Having the right tools, especially the spring compressor makes a world of difference. I found it quite a bit less complicated than than on my car, a 1969 911 where you have to index the torsion bars to set the ride height.
