I am in charge of coordinating the upcoming PCA-Potomac 25th Silver Anniversary of Porsche Club Race Parade. In commemoration of this special time in our club's history, we will be hosting an Anniversary Parade during the upcoming Club Races at Summit Point Motorsports Park. Our hope is to have one model of Porsche manufactured in each year since Porsche Club Race began, back in 1991, in a special parade. I currently have all twenty-five years covered, but one... 1994. So if you own a 1994 Porsche and are interested in help us out, or know someone who does, please contact me immediately via private message.


Here are the details for the parade:

The Club Race Anniversary Parade will be held at Summit Point Motorsports Park's Main track during the noontime lunch break on Saturday, September 24th, 2016. Members wishing to have their vehicle included will need to be at the track no later than 11:15am, and remain there until around 2:00pm.

Event representatives will be on-hand to help guide participants on where to park in the paddock to grid their vehicles in preparation for the parade. Once the track goes cold from the morning races and we are given the thumbs up from the track personnel, parade participants will be led onto the track behind a pace vehicle for the Anniversary Parade laps. Photographs of the vehicles and their owners will also be taken before, during and immediate following the parade.

In exchange for volunteering to have their vehicle featured in our parade, each parade participant will receive two free lunch tickets for Chez Summit, a 2016 Club Race T-shirt, and two free dinner tickets to that evening's delicious BBQ feast, presented by Dixey Bones BBQ. all as tokens of our appreciation for your support.
