Hey guys,

After more research I've decided I just don't want to deal with the possible issues of the M97 engine cars.

If anyone knows of anyone looking to sell their 996TT I'm in the market.

Except for white and yellow all other colors are ok.

High mileage isn't an issue as long as maintenance records are available.

I would like to keep PPI local to the DMV area.

(Porsche of Tysons has one with over 100,000 miles for $29k. I drove it today. The paint had numerous scratches down to bare metal and small dents in the hood. No maintenance papers. The car looks really rough. I can't comment on the test drive too much as the salesman had me go around a parking garage at 20 mph. I guess he has met his quota and didn't need to sell any more cars today. I'll never go back to that dealer).

I have been keeping my eyes out for a 996Turbo too. They seem to be really scarce these days. A few years back, there were a bunch of them for sale.

29K at Tysons? Wow, must be really rough. Still seeing asking prices for mid to upper 30's from private sellers around the country. X50 versions are in the mid 40s-50K.

When I goto the cars and coffee's around here, there are some many high powered cars, a normally aspirated 911 seems really under powered... 300HP comes standard with many cars these days.
