Default Who was considering flood cars?

Found this on Ebay. I can't imagine the work that would need to go into it.

Not sure what the reserve is, but if the car were local, it would have value as a parts car. Probably want to take the panels off and wash them off before storing them long. Less mechanical value as salvage. I bet more of these will be seen, though not all will be so obvious.

I can smell it from here!
Not only flooded, but looted! May have been that way before the flood!

Bill, what makes you think the car was looted? The stereo system, shift knob, and other "high theft" items appear to all be intact. Man that mud/sludge looks like nasty stuff!

Note to self: Don't ever move to hurricane or flood prone areas.

The owner said he was in the process of restoration. I think that's why it looks looted. Look at the mold growing on the door pockets where the carpeting is. Yuk

Nothing like doing a restoration with a haz-mat suit on.
Anyone have any idea how many salvage titles were issued in N.O.?

So the cylinders, and the cooling system are probably full of that toxic sludge too! Yuk!!
