Hmmm,
Didn't read the whole thread but just a quick thought based on your last couple of post.. Now that the car is garaged.. pull the glass and dash again.. you seem to be on the right path with regard to filling the cracks in the dash. You have two couple of add'l options if you want it to look nice.. send it out or take it somewhere locally to be recovered - Stop by one of the local dealerships, find the dent and touch-up guys[LIST] - That work the used car dept.. they can fill and dye the dash and do great work. Get your cash together and replace the glass.. you'll be glad you did.. as far as what you call the moulding (which is now torn) I assume you mean the seal itself.. use only a factory seal.. be sure to install the moulding into seal prior to attempting to do so after the seal and glass are in the car. You'll never get it to seat properly. Also, you can remove and install the glass without rope tricks if you take your time.. but ok, the rope is helpful. Liberal amounts of dish washing liquid or Vaseline can be helpful too!

Paul, can you explain how to do without the rope? I can see being able to do so on the top, but how on the bottom of the windshield?

So ThatGlassPlace.net is coming out to my buddy's house tomorrow to put in new glass. I bought my third (yes, my third) windshield gasket for them to use. I'm hoping they have better luck than I did...

It came out AWESOME... Can't wait to get the pedals in and drive it.
BTW, I listed the old glass for free in the for sale area. Cloudy lower corners.
