its an amazing group of people with a passion second to none. As Gary says come out and explore many different kind of events...DE , Autocross, Drive and Dine etc. Each is its own unique experience and a great way to meet people and explore your car and yourself.

IMHO, the bar has been set so high by you already attending Tech that the rest of these programs will be a yawn-fest...

True.. David being all touchy feely with strangers makes the rest of us seem like cold fish.

Welcome Casper! There will be details and a registration link out for the Wine & Pie Drive soon! Send any questions you have in the meantime about Drive & dine to me here: driveanddine@pcapotomac.org

So far the driving and overall ownership experience has been fantastic. This has more to do with the community than anything else. We've been approached by friendly owners in parking lots and had great conversations with the PCA members we've met in our short time of owning the car.

One memory sticks out here that I feel I should share. We took the new car to the pre-DE-Inspection this past weekend to get a better look at the car and see what we could learn. We we're greeted and embraced by all the folks there. I took note, but the thing that really drove it all home was when we were driving away, my fiance mentioned how nice it was to be talked to as a competent person as opposed to a girl who couldn't possibly understand cars. You won her over, no easy task, and impressed me even further.

Thanks for being such a great group!

Here's the only pic I've taken so far:
Glad you could join us, You met my wife and I at the Tech session, she was holding the black dog.

As for being a great group, you should reserve judgment until you get to know us better.

Stephen

I'm too lazy to go look, but wasn't that thread started by a boy (N0tt0N, if I am not mistaken)?

Keep coming out and you'll learn quickly that lots of women in the club understand cars very, very well. Lots better than me anyway, which is admittedly a low bar.
