50% chance of rain Sunday. Offer for rental of Hoosier H2Os stands - but I'd need to know to bring them up tomorrow. Would only charge if they were actually used. They're square size, on 16" wheels for air-cooled 911s.

Actually, I think your memory may be the one that's failing. Don't the later air-cooled cars have a different offset and larger brakes? These fit cars labeled 911, but I don' think they fit 964 and 993. And I've been to lots of club races where people didn't have rain tires and were scrounging around trying to find a set at the last minute, Lot easier to bring a set that won't cost you anything if you don't need to use them. And I will be the first to state that these tires are magic (started #30 and finished #7 at Watkins Glen in the rain).
