Default Bike to Work Roll Call

Yes I actually got my bike out of the basement, off the trainer, dusted it off and rode to work today. The commute time was almost exactly the same!

Anyone else?

Must have been some dorks out there as there were a good number of people. Rode from Great Falls to Herndon. Had to be in road for a while as the sidewalk was too bumpy and a lot of sand. Did not have any issues with motorized vehicles. Not a big distance but I did get my tee shirt!

I took the bike in to work today too. Glad you had a good ride. Lots of fresh faces on the usual route. Great weather this year. It gets easier the more you do it. If you plan to ride more often and don't have one already I recommend you get a red flasher light for the back of the bike when on the roads. They do help. I ride on roads often and have had very little issues with cars overall.

Didn't ride....took the train like usual. Will atone for it tomorrow with a loop of the PW parkway trails.

Although I'm on vacation I went for an early 25-mile ride this morning and thought about work...

I guess its 16 just east of toll road by Sunrise Valley. I have to tool down about 1/2 mile to get to the trail. My office is right at corner of Wiehle and Sunrise Valley. Getting to the Wiehle trail crossing from the office would be trouble so I ride the sidewalk path to the trail.
