Dude...I'm merely performing a public service for the next owner of this fine automobile. If one takes a Focus ST
out on track with stock brakes.....they will catch on fire. It's a fact.

Ben should be contacting you--he's thinking of switching from a Prius to the "sportier" car...

BTW, the Prius can be fun (we've had ours for 11+ years), but you need to make your fun. We try to return it with more gas mileage than it left with, which we've learned is best obtained not by accelerating slowly, but rather by trying not to accelerate at all! Don't slow down for turns (NOTE: the Prius does not handle quite as well as your Focus ST, so this will take some skill), or at least don't slow down much. Try to time lights to minimize the need to accelerate. Etc. It's a different challenge, but difficult both mentally and mechanically. I just turned the car over the Ben with 44 MPG--pretty good for the middle of winter (mileage drops when cold) and 11-year-old original batteries.
