Default Help with oil hoses for my 964

Does anyone know of a good hydraulic shop in the NOVA area that could help me build new oil lines for my 964? I hope to reuse the metal pipe ends and get aircraft type reinforced hoses crimped on. Anyone done this before?

might want to do a search, as this has been discussed on Dorki a couple times over the last 2-3 years. Pretty sure there is a place near/ at G'burg airport.

Good tip....tried doing that before but didn't find much. Just tried a few more iterations and came up with a post from a while back. Seems the clear winner was Tipco in Chantilly. Thanks!

I tried for several months to get mine repaired w/no success. After a lot of searching and research they ended up sitting in one of the larger hydro shops for 6-8 weeks. When I pressed for a definitive answer on when they would been done I was told; they didn't have and couldn't get the right fittings. Ended up buy new ones on a special Pelican "free shipping" deal for ~ what fixing would have costs

I kept the old lines so interested in following this thread.

I had damaged an oil line when dropping my engine. Used the Colliflower Shop in Rockville. Reused the original fittings and sent me home very happy for about $6.

Recommend leaving it at Trak Ratt's house; he probably won't even notice.

Don't know about that. I believe he's FEWC-free at this point!

Feel free to store it at my house. (you can pick up what is left when the hoses are ready)
