THis is basic technology, David. Around $30 from CompUSA, BestBuy etc. Buy whats most convenient. Make sure to take your camcorder with you to buy the cable with the right size Firewire connector to suit your camera. There are a number of different sizes!

Depends on wether you have a laptop or desktop. For a desktop Pinnacale stuff should work. The exact name is Pinnacle Studio AV/DV. Anything at the computer store should be on par thou...

The motherboard on my old cpu went south about 6months ago and since then it has been relegated to the random computer parts room. There is a firewire card you are welcome to if you want to come pick it up in sterling.

I can't find the driver disk, but i'd say 95% chance you could use a default windows driver. Otherwise could download the real one.
