Wow. All the titanium not-withstanding, he's tuned on Scotch. Even Ryan cannot hide that kind of cheating. He is GTA.

Hi jacking the thread, also left knee major replacement and right ankle as per avatar, fused solid, but can still heel and toe. Hell with 10 oz and 12 oz, UK pint is 20 oz.

I didn't use the sling after the first week. But that's not the point. If I were you, I would not plan on making this race. I thought I would make it two years ago but that definitely was not the case.

Don't kid yourself. Think if this: you need to reach a point where you can pull yourself out of a burning car quickly should an accident happen, not just open a door and step out. I did the March DE before the Glen to find out what still hurt and what exercises I needed to create to be ready for a 90 minute enduro. By the time the Club race for the Glen came around at the end of May, 6 months after surgery, I was ready. During the prior 6 months I worked my way up with PT to a point where I was doing one arm pull ups on an incline plane device. All I can say is PT is essential more than once a day. Ice too. And, don't do anything stupid to aggravate the shoulder.
Spoke to my doc and PT persons yesterday. They confirmed no way I'm going to be ready for Sebring. also pointed out that HANS + belts would induce killer pain. My plan is now VIR DE as 1st event of the year, then Monticello CR and Watkins Glen CR.
