HUGE thanks to Tony P - when our shifter epoxy failed (apparently they have 2 pieces in the shifter bar, held together with epoxy which should break in the case of an accident, allowing the shifter to rotate away and cause less injury), Tony actually had a welder with him, and we were able to fix the part and get the car back on the track! Hooray!!

Ben and I had a fun weekend. I had particular fun mixing it up with Clarke in his early car (1969 with a twin-plug 2.0). He is fast in that thing!

Awesome weekend.

- Congrats to Fumes (formerly district991) for his upgrade to white and for giving us some thing to talk about when he didn't run out of gas but rather found his car to be "lacking fuel" suddenly

- Had Dirk as my copilot on volunteer day and really enjoyed his instruction. new personal best 5-Seconds faster than PorscheFest...yippee

- Wild ending to the final Blue run group on sunday with a boxster up on top of the tire wall on the outside of turn 9.

Hard to believe the season is mostly over - we close on Ruby Summit Point house on Friday - 2015 is going to be awesome

Great year - great people...

A fantastic end to the season, started the weekend with a starter problem found one from a donor car then the continuing saga with the brakes reappeared. Spent most of Sunday rebuilding the system again but think we finally found the issue, more stuff from the parts car! Funny thing about not using brakes on the track things get faster. Took advantage of all the instructors without students Friday and gave lots of rides thanks to Susan, Lane and Dirk for the pointers. I now have a several things to work on in turns one, three, four, six and ten - this is starting to get interesting. The additional instruction paid off with a promo to black. Loads of promos this weekend congrats to everyone. Very nice seeing folks this weekend lots of old friends turned out for this one.

Never gets old - it's not the cars....

Only made it Friday, but great seeing the Ghetto alive and kicking. Highlight of the weekend was last run on friday behind Good Hands. Had the privilege of watching him take the checkered flag and doing a victory lap holding a flag out the window for his eighth, yes eighth, consecutive DE Championship title.

What an awesome weekend! Weather was incredible. Everyone was in a good mood - the ghetto dwellers were in really, really good moods Nice putting a face to name to }{arlequin, LPM911 and seeing TR and JazzBass. Up to now you have all been fictional characters in a bizarre tale so its good to see your real characters are just like your Dorki characters..... only more so.

It was great to work pit out on Friday and get a better handle on some of the faces and names (and what the Stewards thought of them)

Congratulations to Chip for his well deserved promotion! Well done, man!

Thanks to Tony and Cindy for the continued hospitality and support. Thanks to Nadir for his generosity - I burned most of it up in the last runs Sunday, btw

Condolences to Chamilka, Greg, and Irfan/Annabelle. Wish your weekends could have turned out better.

Had a great time with Dennis as my instructor in Green - the guy's a hoot. One train to nowhere , three fun runs , and one less fun run . Missed one run counting my winnings from the West Virginia Slot Machine (WVSM) as Tony told me.

Here's a video of one of the fun ones. Saturday's 3rd run.

I'll post more videos later, including the less fun one. Apparently Pilot Sport Cups require more effort to heat up...

Congrats GH! I should have held on to my signed t-shirt a bit longer before selling it to Hunt.

Huge thanks to Timmy and Derrick at (Convenience Car Care / Intersport II), Mitch and Robbie (Piper Motorsports), and Eric (Craftsman Upholstery) for getting the car setup and dialed in. The car was fantastic with multiple personal bests while still on streets by about ~1s (faster times than before car mods on r-comps), couldn't be happier.

Good to see y'all, great weekend.

Great event, weather and people.

A shout out to everyone who offered their expertise, parts, tools and encouragement getting the belts changed on my car on Saturday. Ultimately Mr. C, the track angel, got them changed out. We are very fortunate to have him so close by.

Nadar thanks for riding with me. Maybe next time we can get a full run in without Black flags.

When is the first event of 2015?
