on the otherhand, I think coupe replicas are pretty new aren't they. Speedsters and spyders have been around for a while though... JPS makes some. They are likely still $30K cars.

Today (Friday) at about 12:15, a very clean, straight, black 924 driving on Jones Branch drive in McLean. (I presume it was running, although it was a downhill stretch.)

On the way home last nite, around 5:00PM, on Clara Barton Pkwy after Chain Bridge was suddenly blocked, and from about 20 cars back, I watched as a tow truck winches a red car out of the woods. I wasn't able to get a pic because of how other cars and the tow truck were situated. But the car pulled from the trees was a red 911 Slant Nose. Pretty looking car, with no obvious damage. I'm guessing driver had pulled off the road earlier, but misjudged the grassy incline and got stuck. Here's a pic of the location from Google Maps:
